Whistleblowing and Consultation Desk for Compliance

ITOCHU ENEX HOME-LIFE CO., LTD. has established the ITOCHU ENEX Group Compliance Program. The entire ITOCHU ENEX Group promotes compliance (with laws, regulations, and ethics). We have established a Compliance Reporting and Consultation Desk as a mechanism for handling complaints from external parties.

Subjects of Reporting and Consultation

• Violence and pressure by our employees against our business partners
• Alleged violation of law
• Involving human rights such as child labor, forced labor, abuse, harassment, and discrimination
• Working long hours and other matters relating to occupational health and safety
• Matters relating to the work environment, such as occupational safety and health
• Significant impact on the environment
• Acts that deviate from relevant laws and regulations
• Comments on business transactions
• Harassment of job seekers, job seekers, interns
• Noise, odor, etc.

Protection of privacy

Information pertaining to reports and consultations shall be handled with due consideration to the privacy of those who receive reports and consultations.
In addition, we will not be subject to any disadvantageous treatment on the grounds that you have been notified or consulted.

Confidentiality by outsourcing

The contact point is set up by an outsourcing company (NEC VALWAY Co., Ltd.). Employees of the outsourcing company are also responsible for accepting information.
We will not disclose or divulge the contents of the report or consultation to any third party (except in the event such disclosure is enforced by law).
