About the Harassment Hotline

Kyoto Tachibana Educational Institution (hereinafter referred to as “the Institution”) has established the “Kyoto Tachibana Educational Institution Guidelines for the Prevention of and Response to Harassment” to promote harassment prevention throughout the Institution. To provide a point of contact for matters related to harassment from students and their parents or guardians, the Institution has set up a consultation service called the “Harassment Hotline”.

Eligibility

○This hotline is available to:

• Students enrolled in Kyoto Tachibana University, Kyoto Tachibana Junior and Senior High School, and Tachibana Oji Kindergarten, as well as their families.
• Individuals with an ongoing relationship with the Institution, including alumni, former students, former faculty or staff, and temporary or dispatched staff.
• Business partners associated with the Institution.

○Consultation Topics

You may use this hotline to seek advice or report issues related to harassment. Sexual harassment refers to unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature. Academic harassment involves inappropriate behaviors or remarks related to study, education, and research environments. Power harassment (abuse of authority) refers to the misuse of authority or a superior position to intimidate or disadvantage someone, particularly in the workplace.

Protection of the Person Seeking Consultation

All information will be kept strictly confidential, and you will not receive any unfavorable treatment from the Institution for seeking consultation.

Confidentiality through an External Service Provider

This hotline is operated by NEC VALWAY, Ltd., an external service provider, and all consultations are handled by staff of the company. Your information will not be disclosed to any third party, unless required by law.
