The Kyoto Tachibana Educational Institution (hereinafter referred to as “the Institution”) consultation service is intended for individuals who are unable to consult with their supervisor or relevant staff due to certain circumstances.
Important Notes
- Personal information will be handled appropriately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Policy.
- Inquiries received on Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, or on days when the consultation desk is closed will be responded to on the next business day or later.
Protection of the Person Seeking Consultation
- The content of the consultation will be kept strictly confidential by the personnel involved in handling the matter.
- You may submit your consultation to the Institution anonymously.
- You will not receive any unfavorable treatment from the Institution for seeking consultation.

Harassment Concerns:
Sexual harassment refers to unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature. Academic harassment involves inappropriate behavior or remarks related to study, education, and research environments. Power harassment (abuse of authority) refers to the misuse of authority or a superior position to intimidate or disadvantage someone, particularly in the workplace. -
Mental Health Concerns:
Mental health concerns include anxiety or stress related to academic work, research, work environment, or interpersonal relationships including depression, loss of motivation, sleep difficulties, and other mental or physical health concerns.
Consultation Process
STEP.01
- Consultations are accepted through an external consultation desk (NEC VALWAY, Ltd.).
STEP.02
- The external consultation desk will report the consultation details to the Institution. You may choose whether to provide your real name or remain anonymous.
STEP.03
- For those who request a reply from the Institution, the response will be provided through the external consultation desk.
Important Notes
- The external consultation desk serves as a point of contact for receiving consultation inquiries and forwarding them to the Institution. It does not make determinations regarding harassment or provide advice.
- If you wish to request specific action in relation to harassment issues, internal procedures within the Institution are required. Please indicate your request in the “Request to Kyoto Tachibana Educational Institution” section of the consultation form or email. For telephone consultations, please inform the consultation desk verbally.
